What should I do if I will be carrying Currency in cash and/or negotiable monetary instruments

Negotiable financial instruments: there are considered as travelers checks; bearer checks, bearer notes (to be transferred upon delivery); bonds, bank certificates in foreign currency; Incomplete instruments signed or not (in which the amount is entered but the name of the beneficiary is omitted) and you should consider the following:

You must file a declaration if you carry more than US$ 10,000.
No more than US$ 30,000 is allowed to entry.
Important:

In both cases, if applicable, the equivalent in local or foreign currency must be considered. If you need to bring in or take out of the country amounts higher than those allowed, you must do it through companies belonging to the financial system. The declaration of outgoing money is made at the Customs Offices located on the second floor (embarkation area).
